CASE · B2B PAYMENTS FINTECH — MEXICO
Terminal sales left the spreadsheet and entered a control room
A Mexican B2B payments fintech — terminals, POS, softPOS, and gateways — needed a CRM that understood their business: merchant scoring, quotes clients open without login, and a forecast that never goes stale. This is what we built.
The process, before
Selling terminals with loose sheets
- —Merchant prospects living in Excel sheets that each salesperson versioned in their own way.
- —Terminal quotes built by hand in Word, with discounts negotiated from memory.
- —Proposals sent as email attachments: impossible to know if the client ever opened them.
- —The forecast was a Friday meeting, not a data point. Targets were a promise without a dashboard.
How we understood it
It wasn't a SaaS, it was a B2B cycle
- →Selling terminals, POS, and softPOS is not selling a SaaS: it is a B2B cycle with NDAs, scoring, and volume.
- →The bottleneck wasn't closing deals — it was knowing where each deal stood and what was going to close.
- →Clients decide fast when the proposal is a link that opens on their phone, friction-free.
- →Leadership needed weighted forecast and live OKRs, not a report that ages within hours.

What we built
A CRM built for B2B payments
Specialized CRM for terminal sales
Company Kanban pipeline with scoring and NDA management. Products with variants (terminal, softPOS, gateway) and opportunities with stage probability.
Public-link quotes
Volume variants and discounts, email delivery via Resend, and a /cotizacion/:id link the client opens without login. Also /propuesta/:id and /requerimiento/:id.
Weighted forecast and OKRs
KPI and targets dashboard connected to the live pipeline: projected quarterly close and team OKRs that measure themselves.
Bulk contacts and email
Contact import via Excel with deduplication, assigned tasks, and mass email campaigns — all inside the same system.
Development scope
The stack that holds it together
What changed
From Excel chaos to a control room
The team stopped asking "where does this client stand?" — the pipeline answers by itself.
Proposals are sent in minutes and traceable as a link, not a lost attachment.
Leadership opens a dashboard and sees real forecast and OKRs, without waiting for month-end.
A process that lived in Excel and scattered emails is now a commercial control room.
